about

I May Hear You Too is the second single from an ongoing concept album. It is also a continuation of the first single If You Hear My Voice. The song is a realisation that because of the tools we have all been given, everyone expects to be listened to and hence no one feels they need to listen to anybody else.

"We live in a silent film-like world. We contribute to so much noise that we cancel each other out and nothing is heard, nothing is truly felt anymore; we all talk but there is no voice coming out unless the intertitles (algorithms) will let you get through with your message and it's like an instant gratification that makes us feel valid for a while but it's all an illusion. "

lyrics

Can you hear the echo in the woods again
Throwing round reflections of the day
Cross out the I's
That's how sanity starts
Touch my hand I'll show thee
Look at me the other says
Constant debris in the air
We hope, we strive, we build it up inside
Castles built on sand
But tell me who's left listening
Now
Noise going out, nothing ever comes in
Hitting branches of uprooted trees
Who thought that we all must speak
All coming out but...
Anybody out there who knows
(How to feel it in my bones)
Who listens now
Who cares the sky has twisted
And lost its stars
Echo wisdom of echo souls
Thoughts are lost looking for a home
Anybody out there who knows
(how to feel it in my bones)
Anybody out there who knows
(I feel it in my throes)
Anybody out there who knows
(how to feel it at all)
Who listens now
All be quiet for a while
I will pick a thought to grind
And may it stay and halt the fight
Who says more, enough, you tried
We hope it will strive, we build it up inside
Castles built on sand
But tell me who's left listening
Now
Noise going out, nothing ever comes in
Hitting branches of uprooted trees
Who thought that we all must speak
All coming out but...
